Kristie Fink is a recognized leader and advocate in the field of character education and prosocial learning and was the first person in the nation to serve in a State Department of Education as a full-timeCharacter Education Specialist. She is the former executive director of the Utah Coalition for Civic, Character and Servive Learning and for Community of Caring in Washington, D.C., where she worked for Eunice Kennedy Shriver and the Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr. Foundation. She served on the executive board of The Character Education Partnership and currently serves on the Education Advisory Council. She is the 2014 recipient of the Sanford N.. McDonnell Lifetime Achievement in Character Education award, and Co-Editor and author, with Jonathan Cohen and Sean Slade of the book Integrating Prosocial Learning Into Education Standards, published by Routledge.
