Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

This two-hour session will provide English Language Arts teachers (elementary and secondary) an opportunity to learn the process used by the USBE for writing assessment items for the RISE and Utah Aspire Plus Summative Assessments. Educators will be trained in how to write passage based questions that assess the ELA Utah State Core Standards, and be given time/guidance to formulate items for use in their own classroom. Educators will be provided passages but are encouraged to bring current text being used in their classroom.
