Being a teacher trying to deliver core instruction can be difficult when we have students who act out behaviorally in class. We will discuss evidence-based behavior practices as outlined in the LRBI (Least Restrictive Behavior Interventions) from the Utah State Board of Education (USBE). These practices are simple and inexpensive to implement and have positive outcomes for students and teachers. Classrooms are transformed into positive environments, suspensions and truancies are reduced and school culture improves.
